Reebok EasyTone Shoes

What do you think about the Reebok EasyTone shoes?
Since I don’t own a pair of Reebok EasyTone sneakers (sorry Alecia, they are super fugly), I decided to do a little research to see what reputable sources had to say.
Sarah Dussault, a popular fitness & health video producer/blogger for Diet.com, tested them out and reported feeling an extra challenge in her step that made walking around feel more like a workout. She wasn’t too keen on the look of the shoe which her video labels an ugly duckling. Check out Sarah’s video here:
The NBC Today Show also tested the EasyTone along with 2 of its competitors by asking 3 women to wear them for a week. They all reported feeling a difference. The woman who wore the EasyTone reported loving the physical benefits and said she would continue wearing them even though she didn’t consider them fashionable. Reebok posted this video (which includes the “unfashionable” comment) on their EasyTone website, leading me to believe that style was never a priority in the making of this shoe.
If you don’t hit the gym much or obsess about fitness couture, the Reebok EasyTones are worth the $110 . Let’s be honest, if you’re reading this blog you probably value fitness & style. The EasyTones won’t boost your wardrobe so if you’re dead set on boosting your booty, my suggestion is A) hit the gym or B) wear the EasyTones where no one can see you.
I must say, I do appreciate their killer advertising which you can view more of on the Reebok EasyTone website.
UPDATE: The Shoe Gods were listening! Check out these NEW EasyTones (in metallic gold.) They are way more stylish than the originals.
