Mizz Kira Stokes!!! Enough said. Actually, I'm gonna say a bit more...

We chose to interview Kira by asking her a question while doing her own Stoked Primal moves because we wanted you to see how strong and smart she is. She doesn't turn her brain off when she's working out, and when she's training she's always looking at AND out for you. This woman walks her talk as Brett Hoebel would say, and that's why we love her.

Kira has helped countless women transform their body and mind. She guides women through fit pregnancies (like our very own Laura from Baby Bump Fit Tips) and cares immensely for her clients and class regulars. Personally, I've never experienced this kind of dedication from a fitness trainer, which is why I think Kira should be a role model to others in the industry. I'm sure there are more amazing fit pro's like Kira that I have yet to meet or work out with...which makes me happy because fitness is all about LOVE, right? Self-love and community.

I'm beyond thankful for trainers and leaders like Kira within the industry. Here at MizzFIT, we want to thank and scream their names through the online universe. This was an awesome video/interview - and a great test of multitasking skills! I especially loved Kira's answer to the question about music during exercise.

Someone in the fit world that has moved me, literally, is my trainer. I've been working with her for almost 2 years now - she truly helped me go from being obsessed with exercise, a victim of chronic back pain, and always overtraining, to someone who works out hard but knows to listen to the body when rest is necessary. She kicks my butt during every session we have (5 days a week), but she's encouraging as well.

I also have to thank you, MizzFIT, for your continued inspiration and helping me realize more of my passion for fitness and just how fun it can be. Your site is filled with so many resources - I'm always visiting the archives to see what I missed before I discovered your site! And now I'm "stoked" (sorry) to learn more about Kira Stokes' classes.

This was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Kira do her moves & answer your questions. As one of her private clients & someone who also takes her class it was great to see her get out of breath too... Lol
In all seriousness, she is amazing as a trainer & teacher. Kira cares so much about form & makes sure you are not going to injure yourself while doing all of her "Stoked" moves!
She's definitely in a league of her own & I feel incredibly lucky to work out with her!!!

So glad you appreciated seeing Kira sweat it out. It was so much fun to watch on my end too! She really is quite a trainer and since meeting her, I've just been really impressed with all that I see that she does. Injury prevention is so freaking important to her and I absolutely love that. You feel safe in her class, even when you feel like you might die, right? You are super lucky, Abbey! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment here...makes me happy.

You are SO CUTE! OMG, I wish you could come into town on March 23rd because my team is taking Body Conceptions dance and it's so up your alley. We'll have to go when you come into town in June. Anyway, re:Kira, she's a fitness blessing. Truly is. Your trainer sounds equally incredible and you should know that not that many people have such great connections with their trainers, so you're very lucky! Anyone who can change the way you look at your health and help you find balance that "feels good" is DOING IT RIGHT. Thank you for saying that inspire you as well. But the truth is you and I feed off each other and volley that inspiration between us! I could not do it without you.
So cool that your comment is the last thing I read before I head to bed. You rock, my dear. And that's something I know I've definitely said before :)

I wish there was a "like" button for comments like on Facebook, haha. I wish I could be there in March! That would definitely be a great class to take when I do come in June - more excitement to anticipate :)
