Tracy Anderson Gives You A Leg Up With Her New Workout Leggings

Trending - Fitness - Celeb interviews

Before I interviewed Tracy Anderson, I pegged her as the woman who made it big training Madonna and who owns an elite studio where white girls who can't jump or dance go once to painfully humiliate themselves (yup, that was me). But she's way more than that. She's the big sister who drags you to the gym wearing matching workout leggings and cares about how you work out. She's thoughtful and she's not just in it for herself. Her new line of leggings proves that. The pic below shows all 4 styles which cater to different body types.

I got to ask Tracy everything I've been dying to know about her. I love her honesty and her approach to being fashionably fit. The fact that she cares so much about how her clients and dvd-home-fitness fans look and feel in their workout clothes is enough for me to call her my new fitness crush!

...and find out which leggings she wears from her collection!

Very interesting interview! It was nice to actually read Tracy Anderson's words - I've never read an interview with her, only read (mostly negative) press about her. Thank you for shedding some light and for sharing about her new legging collection! I love the style and cut.

Hi Liz,

Yeah, there's a lot of negative press out there about Tracy which I had also read before. But it was nice to get a taste of the real thing...straight from her mouth. Tracy has a lot of attitude and spunk which is why I think sometimes she gets a bad rap. And she's an innovator. So I think when you put yourself out there like that, there's always going to be criticism. She seems to deal with it well. Thanks for your comment!!!!

i bought both ab and glute. they fit but I noticed both designs not 100% as accurate in the pics :-(

Well that's disappointing. Can you tell me more about how they're not accurate as pictured. It would be good for other shoppers to know what you experienced. How do they function when you workout? Do they get the job done? Are they comfortable? Would be great if you could tell us more, especially what you like and dislike about them. Thank you so much for coming here to comment about your experience with them.

:-) thanks for the prompt reply.both function well and comfortable when I work out n sweat.
the Abcentric one have only one elastic waistband instead of both mesh panelled and elastic waistbands as pictured. I'm not so sure whether the waistbands does what it claims, but I don't have muffin top issue when i wear it. Plus no shiny triangular looking materials on the sides next to the grey silver patterns (the grey silver patterns exist though) as pictured.

The mesh panelling for the glutecentric one is not shaped as pictured. Half of the mesh were covered horizontally so only the skin of the calves are see through n not both calves n lower part of knees are see through as pictured, which is actually the reason why I wanted to buy in the 1st place cus it looked interesting and kinda sexy.

Without these details I just feel a bit frustrated. I don't plan to exchange them cus I'm in malaysia and paying for returns/exchanges is a hassle and expensive plus I don't know whether I will receive a satisfactory exchanges since both leggings are not same as pictured :-(

I like responding back quickly...keeps the convo going. And I really do read each and every comment that is left here on I'm glad you're muffin-top free in your Tracy leggings but sad they did not live up to expectations. Would you say you're slightly disappointed or really disappointed? What about the value? Do you think they cost too much or was the price fair for how they function when you exercise?

For the sexy aspect/features that you were looking for, I'd recommend The leggings for this brand have a more translucent mesh that really do show off the sexier parts of your calves and thighs. Check them out and tell me what you think. The only catch for this brand is that it's a high price point.

I totally understand your frustration and will keep what you've written me here in mind when other women ask me about these fitness tights. I think it's really great that you came here to express yourself and warn other shoppers that they might not get what the pics show. That's very thoughtful of you and I must say you're a smart consumer. We all learn from our mistakes but at the same time, brands should make sure product pics and advertising are accurate and fairly represented.

Again, thank you for your honesty, bravery for speaking up and for articulating clearly what was wrong with the product. All of this is really helpful to my readers. Please feel free to email me if you have questions or concerns about other fitness fashion purchases you make down the road and I will do my best to guide you.
