Don’t fret, the New York Running Company in the Time Warner shopping center at Columbus Circle is bound to have what you’re looking for.
If you’re into crowds, head to the ING New York City Marathon EXPO this weekend and stock up on a rainbow of GU flavors and more. Most people go in the morning or later in the afternoon. So if you’re planning to go, aim for mid-afternoon. Expect plodders! Gotta love them
Just remember when it comes to marathon supplies, less is more! One year I ran past some Italian marathon runners with toilet paper rolls hooked to their running belts…I thought it was a little much. I say ditch the tool belts and just run!
Good luck!
