Not only am I in this video (can you spot me?) but I couldn’t agree more with Bloomberg TV’s findings. Yoga’s popularity and sales growth even during tough economic times proves it’s not a fad but a restorative workout on many levels.
I never got into video games as a kid and if someone handed me a controller, Mario would be lying in a ditch unconscious within seconds. I admit, my hand-eye coordination was off and my patience limited. But it didn’t seem right that I sat and jiggled a controller while Mario & Luigi had all the fun. A lot has changed through the years (technology) and even though I was once a hater, I’m now a big fan of interactive fitness games. Check out my 3 favorites games made to burn calories and entertain.
It’s like therapy for your body but everything happens online. No couch. No moments of awkward silence. No condescending looks when you admit to single-handedly inhaling a party-size bag of Swedish Fish. There’s nothing to be afraid of because you’ll never have to look your tutor in the eyes. It’s called MyBodyTutor and I tried it for a week. I changed bad eating habits without eating less and lost 4 pounds! Now this is a relationship worth investing in. Sayonara Swedish Fish!
