Amazing Fitness-y Valentines Day Gifts That Someone Needs to Buy You + A GIVEAWAY!

9 Feb 2012

(Ok, ladies, this is half for you, half for the guys...or the women that love you or honestly whoever is willing to spend the dough)

WONDERING WHAT TO BUY YOUR FITNESS VALENTINE in order to...

  1. energize her love for you?
  2. show her how much you respect all the hard work she puts into looking so hot for you?

These fitness trends make great gifts. Bestow them upon your beloved or tell your beloved to break out the plastic and buy them for you. Either way, everyone wins. Don't forget, the best gifts always come in 3's!

DON'T HAVE A VALENTINE? LET'S HAVE A LITTLE TALK.

Don't got a valentine? Join my club...but that's OK because "plastic" knows how to love too--meaning, splurge on yourself a little! It's so much better than drowning your anti-climactic V-Day sorrows in cellophane wrapped Walgreens chocolate. Trust me on this one. Plus I'd rather have these Nike Free Twist Run Shoes and Nike's New Fuel Band than chocolate stained lips (sooo gross, no one wants to kiss that!). Y-3's Leather Burgandy Boxing Shoes are even 50% OFF for $135 and these Nano Loop Attachment Bands are $19.99/ea. Not bad.

CHECK OUT MY GIVEAWAY!

I'm giving away 2 Loops (1 red and 1 pink).

Just tell me what your ideal "active" Valentine's Day date would be or one that you have planned for Feb 14th (lucky girl). I'll pick 2 winners on Feb 20th, 2012.

Virtual hugzz and warm V-Day wishes to all of you! And please, lay off the chocolate! --MizzFIT

My ideal active Valentine’s Day date will actually be happening! I will be ballroom dancing. All of the fast ballroom dances, of course - cha-cha, salsa, paso doble, east coast swing, and jive

Training for my first figure competition with my hub who is training for his next powerlifting meet.  True love still burns hot in the gym after 22 years of being together….those that train together stay together!  Who knows, maybe we will splurge and add some creamer to our coffee before our morning workout!!

I live in South Carolina so my perfect valentine’s day would be a run on the beach at sunset followed by a romantic, but healthy picnic dinner

Hi Liz,

Love that you will be dancing on V-Day! Also, not sure why you’re coming up as anonymous either. Do you know what browser you’re using when you look up stuff online? If you tell me that, I can perhaps make sure everything syncs up better. It might be an issue with my website. Let me know! (i.e. Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer etc).

Thanks girl!

Hi Amy!

Well, this phrase rings true for me when I read your comment:

COUPLES WHO WORK OUT TOGETHER, STAY TOGETHER! All my relationships with people who love exercise and liked to work out with me, were always the healthiest! Sounds like fun and your hubby sounds like he has a hard body!

Happy V-day and stay tuned for winner soon!

My ideal would be staying close to the beach to start with a nice breakfast then go for a nice jog that ends at the beach where we then begin a bike ride along the beach and then take time to appreciate a great walk on the pier Then watch the sun slowly go down an maybe go for a night swim before it gets to dark or cold it sounds like a super active day but I love the beach it’s always made me radiate confidence and energy and I recently have been on the biggest health kick that something like this would be amazing! wink

My ideal Valentines date would be a FREE day out with my husband maybe hiking thru the woods taking photos alone - no kids. Maybe a picnic lunch and then head back. Some relax time and a romantic dinner with something light to eat but also something delish.

Hi there,
RELAXING can also be the KEY to a great V-Day. Sometimes we over-do it on V-Day or have expectations that are way too high and we forget to see the beauty in smaller, meaningful…even more “quiet” moments. It’s important to remember to cherish the journey of love and not just the big celebratory moments. Because love isn’t always a party…it’s an evolution, right? Hiking in a beautiful place sounds beyond romantic to me! Especially if a bottle of wine (cheese and crackers) are involved (and no dangerous animals)!

Thanks for your comment!

Hello!
My active valentines day would have to be a nice skating date, since it’s all cold and icy where I live, a couple hours of skating by lake shore, with a dinner after is all I need smile
