Gearing up for soccer play? If so, pink may be the way to go...
Under Armour's Power In Pink Soccer Cleat is $99.
Here's what you need to know:
- It's pink (obviously). Black is so boooooring!
- It's a Limited Edition design. You can brag about that once they sell out.
- It's super lightweight (11.5 ounces).
- It's made to repel water to keep you dry and light on your toes.
- It's got bladed heel studs (don't throw these at your boyfriend).
- It's built with nice leather for durability and comfort.
- 10% of each retail sale is donated to breast cancer charities (that's nearly $10 for breast cancer!)
Please note, I don't own these cleats (I only wish I had a soccer league invite as an excuse to wear them). Under Armour sent me a press release about their Power In Pink cleats and the campaign behind them. I was impressed. The Power In Pink cause helps to educate female athletes about the importance of physical activity in the fight against breast cancer. If anyone from Under Armour sees this, I'd love to know where we can see a list of participating charities. It's always nice to know where our money's going and how we can get more involved with these organizations.

A lot of people hate soccer and think it’s boring. I grew up with it and played as a kid so I LOVE IT. What about it don’t you like?

In Norway Soccer is “religion”. Guess that’s what made me hate it. Lot of pressure on the kids to perform well in an early age too, no room for fun anymore.. Sad, but true.

I had to comment on the fact that the NFL was all geared up in pink this season for Breast cancer awareness month in October. I was so impressed at those big strapping men wearing pink. And the cheerleaders pink pom poms! All so fabulous! I’m so proud.

Hi Sherri,
I actually tried to help someone else track these PINK cleats down last year and apparently they sold out of them (especially in your size) pretty quickly. But Under Armour has informed me that they’ll be making them this year again! So just hold your breath (not really but you know what I mean) until they come out again and I’ll be sure to re-post them here and/or email you directly once they’re out!

I have these cleats and I think they are amazing! they are water resistant so whenever it rains they dry resally fast. But the leather peels off and the stitching comes off sometimes. Other than that they are really good cleats.
