One of the most classic New Year's resolutions is to start going to the gym more, which is exactly why gyms start hiking up their enrollment fees around this time. The other alternative to getting fit is to build your own gym at home. Here are some seriously over-the-top home gyms that we can dream about having one day.

Who wouldn't love their very own smoothie bar? Or maybe it's an actual bar, but still. Even the color scheme screams "let's work out today!"

Yes, this is actually in a home. Two levels, with a sauna! This homeowner either has a very large family or a lot of guests that like working out. Or she’s just awesome.

There's not one but two hot tubs in there! Plus, those light-up stairs must look killer all hours of the day.

Lots and lots of workout equipment and a super comfy chair to relax in afterwards. Not to mention that it's beautifully decorated with a nice personal touch.

With this gym, you can work out rain or shine while enjoying the surrounding view of the great outdoors. As a nice touch, there's even that beautiful candlelight chandelier.

A rock wall and basketball court at home? That has got to be every kid's dream right there. The high ceilings would also mean a ton of wall space to decorate.

Glass top ceiling, a boxing bag, a wide screen TV, and a door to the patio to lounge in afterward. Umm, too good to be true!

Full-fledged gym on the bottom and a lounge upstairs — that's got to be the perfect hangout for the fitness-oriented.

There's nothing like a gym with a great jacuzzi to relax in after a long challenging workout. This also has an indoor pool to cool off in and a fun rock wall for something a little more interesting than stairclimbing.

Ommmmm… Isn't this the perfect way to get into the zone? Plus the amount of storage is incredible for those of us that don't like our free weights and yoga mats lying all over the place.

A half court in bright blue, this is absolutely gorgeous! And for days you don't feel like playing ball, there's always the traditional workout equipment right up the stairs.

Even with no evidence of an existing sauna, this brings spa gym to a whole new level. The only question is: does a masseuse come with that massage table?

It's not just a gym, but all a full-sized indoor swimming pool. Work out and then cool off with a nice dip. Plus, moms can watch the kids play in the water while getting a dry workout.

Take a game room and combine it with a gym, that's genius. Air hockey should totally count as a sport, right? For more home design inspiration, check out Modernize.com.
