Cynthia Rowley & Roxy have teamed up on a surf collection that's urban-beach, pastel-perfection. Discovering Rowley for Roxy at Bleeker street's Cynthia Rowley store in NYC was the highlight of my week. I was madly in love at first glance. The pieces range from surf-wear to fitted skirts and dresses. You'll long for Cali beaches and want to try everything on, even if there's no beach time in your immediate future (insert sad face here). The best pieces are made with neoprene fabric and are completely wearable (even the pencil skirt).
Rowley for Roxy features bright colors, geometric shapes, and fun materials (think that first Body Glove wetsuit you got in 1989). It's a classic throwback to a bright period in surfing, when wetsuits featured neon stripes and bikinis were high cut, really high cut. (source)
It's HOT...it's fun...and makes me want to put David Lee Roth's California Girls on repeat for as long as I can stand it. In my opinion, you have no option but to iike it. Check out the Rowley for Roxy Collection HERE or HERE. If you'd rather shop in person, it's selling at Barney's Coop, Cynthia Rowley boutiques and Quicksilver stores.
