I know, I know…Omicron has taken over New York City. But I’m still kickin’ and being extremely careful wherever I go without spiraling into panic mode. I do believe as long as you operate and travel with utmost safety (ahem, mask on!) that it’s OK to go out and enjoy the wonders of New York during the holidays. Here are my recommendations for must-see attractions, observatories and fun pop-ups to visit as you round out your year and begin to say goodbye to 2021.
A few weeks ago, I hosted a candid Instagram LIVE talk with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and Dr. Shafer, a board certified ASPS surgeon based in Manhattan. I talked about my breast augmentation story, including the stages leading up to my procedure and my results.
I kind of have to open with this joke...
Q: Why isn't Matzah popular outside of the Jewish Community?
A: Because it's never been on the rise.

Yes, that’s me at #Blogher20 Health in Los Angeles looking like I have short hair! I did a double take when I saw the shot—is that really ME? The funny thing is I’ve actually been contemplating this exact chop for a while but haven’t been able to pull the trigger. It’s always easier cutting your hair when you’re at the verge of a major life change.
I attended the 2017 Woman’s Day Red Dress Awards to join the fight against heart disease as a guest of CocoaVia® brand. I'm a sponsored CocoaVia® brand influencer, but all opinions are my own*. What an event! I truly did not expect the evening to be as spectacular as it was—it completely blew me away! Upon entering the Jazz at Lincoln Center atrium right above Columbus Circle, I was enveloped in a soft red glow and a room full of happy people buzzing around. It was a fantastic sight, with wait staff lined up to hand you a drink. Everyone (with their phones in camera mode) was drawn to the gargantuan heart “centerpiece” pumping good vibes through the room. I grabbed a drink (red bubbly to match the event’s color theme) and sashayed around during the cocktail hour in my red dress, matching every single woman in attendance. Not only is it so much fun, but it’s truly an honor to attend events like this one. Empowering women to better health...

I had networks calling me, asking me to come on their shows to do fitness fashion segments. I was completely unprepared to appear on these shows. One of my 1st on-air moments was the Today Show. While I was proud of myself in the moment, I can't help but cringe every time I watch the clip. I did not have the skillset to appear on-air, had no idea what the hell I was doing, and could have potentially killed my career. Luckily, I had a wonderful publicist who helped guide me towards media training and hosting training. But let's just say I learned through trial and error with the Today Show. My mistakes on-air made me want to be better, eventually leading me into a career a TV and digital host! The story is a little bit longer than what I've just shared but the point is that if you envision yourself speaking online or on TV, you really should learn the basics. It's...
