Clearly you know I’m an adidas super fan as well as an ambassador, so how could I not announce this exciting drop, right? I’m particularly excited because normally I wear more sporty and classic styles from adidas’ fitness and athleisure collections, and this set feels refreshingly different.
My life before the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic hit the US was literally non-stop travel from December to early March. I definitely saw a lot of people at the airport wearing respirators and disinfecting their seats on the plane, but it really never occurred to me that soon we’d all be in a state of lockdown. The face masks, at the time, seemed a bit much to me. I was conscientiously using hand sanitizer and wiping down my seat too, but I was 100% clueless about what was to come next. And you know what? I’m thankful for my blissful ignorance…because who knows when I’ll be traveling next!
Well…in all fairness, ALL WOMEN are nominated and celebrated annually on March 8th which is International Women’s Day. In my opinion, it makes sense to go sporty in the Fall and Winter months because it’s so darn cold outside and just easier to get around when you’re not dealing with the hassle of heels. Lately, I’ve been sporting 4 looks inspired by a few key pieces that I got from adidas. Sometimes adding just a few things to your wardrobe can really spruce up what you’ve already got.
I get this question a lot: How do you decide what to put in your subscription boxes? Well, it's easy! I simply put the things I absolutely love inside each mailing. Buuuuuuuut, each individual item selected also has to be relevant to industry trends and achieving physical results. I test EVERYTHING on myself first, research the item profusely and determine whether it is something that will enhance the lives of my subscribers but also immediately win them over as they're opening the box. I want them to come to expect great surprises and not be able to contain their excitment and curiosity from the minute the box is delivered. So, even though it's easy...it's also very hard. It's the reason why my team takes 3 months to plan and design each mailing. Just figuring out the theme of the box can take a while, too, because I want to come up with something that will resonate with my subscribers.
