Prescription Problems Solved for my Shoulder Injury

I have a shoulder injury :( and it's something I've been working through for nearly a year. I started noticing the pain during my workouts but just thought it was some kind of exercise soreness. Then the area started to ache when I wasn't working out and I knew something was wrong. Even sleeping became incredibly painful. A few doctors and an MRI later, I found out that it was a SLAP tear, an injury specific to the labrum in the shoulder which surrounds the socket of the shoulder joint. In the fitness world, this injury is actually quite common. It requires that you stop all high intensity training, let it heal and then begin physical therapy or post-injury training. My doctor prescribed me Meloxicam for the inflammation and I also received 2 cortisone shots to reduce the pain. It's a very slow road to recovery and 3 months into it, I thought the pain would never end. Running Safety: What Every Runner Should Know And Do

This topic is an important one, especially in light of the deaths of Karina Vetrano and Vanessa Marcotte, which both really affected me as an avid outdoor runner. Karina's death was just too close to home. Her body was found along a Howard Beach path she ran down often. And finally, just a few days ago, her murderer/rapist was caught and charged. Vanessa Marcotte's death, while it didn't happen in New York City proper (her body was found in Massachusetts where she was jogging while visting her mother), was still a major reality check for me because she worked at Google, a mere block away from where I used to live here in NYC. Model Brad Welling Peaks In His 50's

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw pictures of model Brad Welling. He's strikingly handsome with silver hair and abs that put men half his age to shame. His modeling agency TRUE Model Management calls him their "unicorn", which I believe is the right word to describe him because he's an anomaly!
