Hiya! I'm thrilled to share that I'm hosting the 2018 New York Millennial Gala: A Rose Gold Affair, put on by Millennial Clubs. It's quite an honor because as the host, I will be guiding everyone through the night. Our attendees are top knotch! They are outstanding millennial professionals from all walks of life with stories that would truly impress you because THEY IMPRESS ME!
Millennial Clubs was co-founded by my friend Noble Madu who pioneering a social gathering and support group for hard working millennials who are sick of hearing the negative stereotypes of their age group. Not only is he smart, Noble's passion and charisma for bringing people together is quite infectious. He literally had me at "HELLO, this is what I'm doing..." and I was like "Sign me up, let's go!" All proceeds from the gala will be benefitting the Millennials for STEM Foundation, which is a great cause to help the financially or medically strained to enter into the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
During my time spent working with Noble and Millennial Clubs so far, moderating panels and organizing details for A Rose Gold Affair, I've met so many accomplished women and men who are part the club. They're contributing to our workforce with creativity, dilligence and the desire to reinvent. I absolutely love it!
I cannot wait for this incredible party we're throwing on Saturday October 13th, 2018! To celebrate I'm giving away 6 tickets. You don't have to be a millennial to attend. You just have to be a passionate professional in your field who is interested in networking with and supporting New York's coolest young professionals.
To win a ticket, simply comment below telling me why you want to attend and what your professional "story" or background happens to be. Why are you itching to network? Are you down to dress up and dance your butt off? This is all very crucial information to my final selection of 6 winners
Also, I can hardly contain my excitement that I will be wearing a couture gown by Dany Mizrachi for the gala. I spent a bit of time at his studio deciding between gowns to wear. I knew I wanted to wear white, which is a meaningful color to me as my name means "white" in Italian but it also represents a blank slate of possibilities and opportunity...which is what I see in today's millennials.
The top picture of me is the dress I have chosen and these others are some wonderful dresses that nearly made the cut. I had the pleasure to be joined by my friend Libby Vilner of Life With Libby during my dress selection, as well as the crew from Jews of New York! Libby actually has a wedding coming up soon so while I was trying on sparkly evening gowns, she was full on experiencing a bridal fitting. She looked like a princess in Dany's wedding dresses! Just the sight of her in one made me want to get married STAT! Dany Mizrachi is a much sought after Israeli coutour bridal gown designer so it was very exciting to work with him and his team.
