Parting will be such sweet sorrow for me as New Balance has its last Girls' Night Out event of the summer in New York City this upcoming Thursday night. As the GNO host and emcee, it's been so much fun being a part of this genius movement and I'm happy to pass the baton off as #NBGNO heads west! On Thursday, if you come, you'll see the comraderie and care that has grown between our regular attendees. Not only do women work out together at our events, they support each other to become stronger in many aspects of life and business. Self-expression and my New Balance custom sneaker giveaway. What do these 2 things have to do with each other? Self-expression is the theme of our last #NBGNO party because part of being successful at fitness & health is making it your own. That means customizing fitness to your own interests and style. New Balance even developed a new online feature that lets you customize 2 popular styles of New Balance sneakers so that you can create a shoe that's uniquely your own, and literally let it move you!

I was given the chance to design my own Women's 574 shoe and geez, I spent hours going back and forth between designs and colors! But I finally decided on a pair and really enjoyed the process of having creative control. Unfortunately when my sneaks I arrived, I realized that I had ordered a size too small. So I'm giving them away! If you wear a size 7 shoe, ENTER THIS GIVEAWAY!!!
As you may have seen from the photo at the very top of this article, I took "self-expression" a step further and bedazzled the New Balance logo with pearls and added some sparkly laces. I'm really into pearls right now so I've been bedazzling a lot of things with 'em. I guess I'll know what you think by how many people enter my giveaway, haha!

Once #NBGNO is over, how can you keep the Girls' Night Out spirit alive? That's an easy one for me to answer and it's a cinch for you to do using the GNO Meet up online app that New Balance created. The GNO Meetup app lets you create and find runs with your good friends or new girls you'd like to meet for social workouts. It's the best way to further the #NBGNO female empowered movement, and the app makes it easy to outline your run to get a sizable group together ahead of time. Good things take a lil bit of planning...but are always worth it in the end.
