Tell me if you can relate? You go to the eye doctor. You browse their eyewear. You fall in love with a pair of frames that look amazing on you. You ask for the price. BOOM! It's $350! And the excuse for the price is always the same thing: "Well, they're DESIGNER." Honestly, most of the time, I've never even heard of the designer that makes the glasses. The brand name means nothing to me.

Maybe it's because I don't wear my glasses 24/7 as I'm mostly in contacts. I'm a part time eyeglasses wearer but I still value the look and feel of prescription eyewear on my face. I just don't believe in paying a crazy amount of money for 1 pair of glasses that I might get bored of within a few months. If you can relate, then you're going to appreciate my discovery.

Firmoo is an online optical store that I was lucky enough to find a the right time when I was in need of new glasses. Their deals are INCREDIBLE! I decided to test them out by uploading my prescription and browsing their frames...

One thing is certain, I feel like I don't blog enough! So many bloggers say that...I know...as it can be really hard to keep up. Especially when it comes to pouring your heart out (with the right words typed in a quiet place) as I'm about to do right now...

So here's the deal, things in my life over the past 10 years have changed so much! My business (Mizzfit LLC) has evolved in ways I never expected and much of the work I do are projects that have nothing to do with blogging. I will never abandon it though because it's how I got my start as an entrepreneur...and really, it's how the concept of "Mizzfit" began. On top of that, I just really like to write. I can't imagine not having a space to do that.

Hiya! It's Feb 1st and we're just 15 days away from #MIZ18 shipping out! I'm immensely excited because this box was so easy to design. I knew exactly what I wanted to do from the start. Sometimes the boxes can take a while to design because there's so much involved when it comes to getting so many amazing brands and products on board. I love the process and love it even more when everything comes together without a hitch. So let's talk about this mailing...even though it's supposed to be a surprise ;)

I hosted a fabulous shopping event with Swarovski this month to share my favorite looks and styling tips with my friends and holiday shoppers. As you can see from the 2 pieces I’m wearing, I made sure to sparkle. The matching Tabloid necklace and cuff are my favorite pieces from Swarovski’s current collection. It tied my whole outfit together for an old Hollywood glamour look.

Our event took place at the Swarovski store at The Shops at Columbus Circle. It was amazing to have my friends, health & wellness community and followers through social media there to browse the collections, socialize and, of course, shop!

The holidays can get a little crazy with crowded and frantic shopping so it was nice to be able to host this event and curate pieces that would make excellent gifts for friends, family and that special someone.

We had plenty of bubbly and delicious bites for guests to enjoy.
