This gift guide is for anyone shopping for a 30-something woman this holiday season. As a 30-something myself, I know a lot about what we like! We love anything that helps us take care of our bodies, feel and look more youthful and that puts sass & edge in our personal style. At this point in our lives, we know who we are from the inside out, so we enjoy unwrapping presents that back up that notion. These are my TOP TEN gifting suggestions and they all come at a reasonable price!
1. First Aid Beauty Limited Edition Beauty Holiday Kits
Because her skin always comes first.
I absolutely adore these beauty kits because each one has an assortment of First Aid Beauty’s best skincare products inspired by different holiday destinations. All 3 kits listed below cost less than $50 and you can get them shipped for free when you spend $50 online at First Aid Beauty. You can also purchase them at Sephora stores.
• Priming Paradise Kit – On sale for $28!
• Brighten Park Kit - $25
• Skin Summit Holiday Kit - $48
I started using First Aid Beauty earlier this year and fell in love with the high quality of their skincare creams, facial cleansers, tinted SPF moisturizers and caffeine facial wipes for refreshing post-workout. The unique products they make, which are included in each holiday kit, cater to my on-the-go lifestyle and make getting ready on the fly so much easier.
Another perk is how travel friendly many of their products are—my favorite assortment being the Priming Paradise Kit, which I will be taking with me to Anguilla in just a few days!
The Priming Paradise Kit is complexion enhancing and perfect for when you’re getting ready for an adventure or night out where you’ll no doubt be taking pictures! It comes with a Coconut Water Cream, Coconut Skin Smoothing Priming Moisturizer and Coconut Micellar Makeup Melter, which gently melts makeup away without drying out your skin.
The Skin Summit Holiday Kit is the works, and truly a treat. It comes with everything a 30-something needs for their winter skincare routine from the Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum to the Ultra Repair Cream which increases hydration by 169% upon application.
The Brighten Park Kit will not disappoint either. It’s a 3-piece set to cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate the skin. All 3 sets are packaged to offer an incredible value and make the lovely lady who receives it feel like she got a lot from you!
2. Emily Hsu Designs Liena Sneaker Legging
Because she only sweats in style.
I couldn’t be more in love with these dark floral print Liena Sneaker Leggings ($64) because they color combination is perfect for winter wear but also spices up a fitness lady’s wardrobe with life. I love the fact that you can throw on a moto jacket with a hoodie underneath and have a fierce athleisure look going on even if you don’t plan on hitting the gym…but let’s be honest, she is planning on it!
3. Yellow Willow Hot Yoga Mat
Because hot yoga is her religion.
Hot power yoga is her workout, therapy and toxin release. She can’t live without it! Neither can she live without a yoga mat that has a built in water and sweat resistant mat towel. Now she doesn’t have to carry around both. All she had to do is roll up her Yellow Will Yoga Mat (ranging from $79-$108) and go!
4. Faux Fur Coat from Michael Kors
Because she prefers to pet animals not wear them.
These faux fur coats from Michael Kors (starting at $200 and up) come in fabulous colors, both long and cropped styles, for the hip woman who express her aura in color but also likes to stay warm!
5. 10-Week Language Course
Because she likes to speak the language when she travels.
There’s no doubt in my mind the lucky lady you’re gifting loves to travel. So why not hook her up with a 10 week language course that will ease her assimilation among the locals for her next big trip! I can vouch for schools like Berges Institute for Spanish Classes (ranging from $200-300 per course) where you can enroll in any level, even Advanced Level Spanish Conversation classes, which I personally loved taking to refresh my Spanish speaking skills! Private lesson are also an option, which you can buy as packages.
6. Denim Therapy – Distress & Repair
Because she loves “designer” holes in her jeans.
This is a really cool gift because Denim Therapy will custom distress, fray and enhances your jeans with jewels, patches and funky adornments. Just send an old or new pair into them and they will customizer per your liking. I recommend buying a gift certificate for their service so that your fashionist recipient can make up her on mind about what she wants. Contact Jessica Azoulay, owner of Denim Therapy for pricing.
7. SLIP Silk Pillowcases
Because she doesn’t want wrinkles.
It’s been proven through lab tests that sleeping on a silky soft SLIP Silk Pillowcase (starting at $85 and up) is beneficial to anti-aging because it absorbs significantly less face cream and creates substantially less friction on the face compared to cotton pillowcases. So what does this mean? Less wrinkles on our face and less residue left behind on our pillows! Buy 1 or a set of 2 in a range of luxurious colors to match her bedding.
8. Color DIP Red Carpet Manicure Powder for Nails
Because she has a signature nail color.
Powder nail manicures are all the rage. The colors are vibrant and they last on our nails so much longer than regular or gel manicures. Color DIP is the ONLY dipping powder brand I use. It literally lasts me weeks and the colors are so on point that I refuse to try anything else!
Why not give her a dipping color she can tote around to nail salons, especially if it’s her signature color?! Nail technicians love working with Color DIP ($9.99) and the brand even sells a DIY kit ($34.99) to try yourself at home. If she's into "festive" nails, get her the sparkly Holiday Nail Kit ($48.95).
9. Born Lovely fragrance by Sarah Jessica Parker
Because if she could channel SJP by smelling like her, she’d do it.
Sarah Jessica Parker knows the way into any fashionista’s heart and it’s with her newest fragrance called Born Lovely inspired by modern femininity. It’s light, floral and petite (just like SJP) and passes the smell test for men (I asked a few what they thought). Gift the Born Lovely fragrance ($38) along with the promise of at least 2 or 3 episodes of Sex & The City, and you’ll be her favorite person on the planet!
10. Lightbox Diamonds from De Beers
Because she loves diamonds and you can afford these!
Lightbox Diamonds are laboratory grown diamonds all priced below $1000. I’ve seen them myself and they’re actually quite impressive, especially for the price. They come as pink and blue diamonds too! I recommend purchasing a pair of diamond stud earrings or a delicate diamond necklace that she can layer with her other favorite pieces. You can upgrade to natural diamonds down the road...
My Last Tip!
When you’re wrapping up your holiday gifts this year, top it off with a beautifully packaged sweet of some sort. Go retro if you can. While it’s not healthy, they really add a nice touch to the gift and show that you put in a little extra effort. I found this rainbow lolly and Christmas candy corn at a sweet shop and just tucked them into the ribbon of my gifts.
I hope my gift guide has inspired you! Did I miss something? Add it by commenting below. You can never have enough gift ideas and I always appreciate hearing your side of things :)
Have fun shopping and gifting, and don’t forget to put your technology down and spend some quality time with your favorite peeps. The holidays always come and go with the blink of an eye so BE PRESENT!
