I have hyperpigmentation on my face and there’s really only one way to entirely get rid of it in one quick wave of a laser wand called Lumeca. The type of hyperpigmentation I have is called Melasma, which people show signs of for all different kinds of reasons from heat sensitivity to fluctuating hormones during pregnancy. Any type of hyperpigmentation is a pain in the butt because the brown spotting or discoloration that appears can be very aggressive and challenging to remove, lighten or even cover up with makeup.

A lot of people are scared of getting dermal fillers in their face and I don't blame them. We've seen enough celebrities who look frozen with very little movement in their forehead and mouth areas. Additionally, I've had a lot of friends tell me they hated their results after dabbling in fillers. They felt like they looked "different" afterwards. There were certain things about the way they charicteristically moved their face that were now gone. It takes guts to post your bare ass on the internet. The "before" picture is definitely where my vulnerability lies. My mission has always been to offer up the best advice I could possibly give and to provide my readers with honest feedback on everything I try.
