Coco T Wants You To Come Out of Your Shell

I've been a Coco fan for quite some time. She's famously known for being Ice-T's wife and for looking like this...

I adore Coco. She's in your face voluptious, booty-ful and eccentric but deep down she's just a sweet girl from New Mexico who grew up loving fitness. In pictures, Coco surely comes across as more vixen than sweetheart. I assure you she's 100% sweetheart. I wouldn't be writing this article unless I had an amazing heart-to-heart with her, which I did. What ensues are excerpts from a long conversation I had with Coco. Just like YOU, she's one-of-a-kind. And she wants more women to embrace their zaniness and get the hell outta their shell!

How did you get into fitness and bodybuilding?

"One of my 1st jobs from when I was 16 to 18 was at a sports and wellness center. I really liked being in a healthy atmosphere. Through working there I ended up entering a fitness contest at 18 in Mexico called the Miss Ujena fitness competition. It’s a week long...

Fred Devito: My Teacher

Fred Devito is one of the founders of Core Fusion as well as a founding partner of the exquisite Exhale Spa locations around the world. He is widely known and incredibly respected in the fitness industry. I've learned a great deal from him, which you're going to hear all about.

What I've learned from Fred can be broken down in 3 stages of knowing him. There's the "DVD" Fred stage (consisting of many living room workouts...and intermissions to catch my breath), the "O.M.G. I just took class from the real-life Fred Devito" stage (and I wish he would look away so I can stop holding this awful pretzel pose), and lastly the "One To Admire" Fred stage. I should mention that Fred turned 57 on the day that I interviewed him for this article. He told me he'd been in the fitness game now for 30 years. I asked him if he planned to take a break and he said:

"I'll never stop doing this." - Fred Devito

I got into barre-fitness workouts in 2007...

Celebrity Sweat with Torah Bright: Women's Halfpipe Olympic Champion

Torah Bright is an Olympic Champion for Australia once again!

In the 2010 Winter Olympics, Torah took home the gold medal for the women's halfpipe competition and this year she snagged herself a silver. I had the privilege of meeting Torah before the 2014 games, and interviewing her for Celebrity Sweat. Getting to know the personal side of Torah made it even more exciting for me to watch her earn Australia's first medal at Sochi. Here's how our conversation went...

Considering you started as a downhill ski racer, what made you transition to snowboarding?

" Skiing was what we did as a family. As a kid, I would stop to see snowboarders while roaming the mountain and used to call them all sorts of names. We did not like snowboarders. But I was 11 years old when my brother Ben, who is now my coach, wanted to try snowboarding, and I was like mum could I try snowboarding too? And that was the end of it. After that day we both told mum that we loved it so much. "

Thank You, Norma Kamali, and All the Woman Who Empower Me!

This is it! My favorite celebrity interview so far! We’ve got to live our lives by our own calendar and pay the next woman forward with a lot of insight. Gobble up this episode of my  “Women Who Empower” series featuring fashion designer and wellness guru, Norma Kamali.

Women like Norma fill my head and heart with amazing love, courage and ambition. I mean, just look at what she’s created! It’s a mega-brand comprised of fashion, fitness and wellness. And on top of that, she’s nice, introspective and thoughtful!

I’m so lucky and thankful to know and learn from such smart, successful and giving women as I wander down this path called “my life”.  If you make it through the entire video (which I hope you do because Norma makes some powerful points), you will come across this message from me:

It took many years of growing up for me to be able to write this. Mostly, because I’m competitive by nature. I like being the...

Michelle Vesterby - Triathlete Sponsored by ECCO

Q.Michelle, what’s the best part about your life as a professional athlete? Worst?
A.
The best part is that it’s so much fun. I’m meeting lots of great people and traveling around the world. I’m constantly challenging my mind and body physically. This video here sums it all up!

The bad thing is being away from my friends and family...and missing weddings and Christmas parties.

Q.What are you training for right now?
A.
Right now I’m training for the ITU world championship in France. But my main goal for the season is the Hawaiian Ironman.

Q.You've been running in the ECCO BIOM Racer Lite shoe. Is it your secret weapon?
A.
The ECCO BIOM Racer is really light and makes you fly when you’re out there…compared to a heavy training shoe. I use it for speed sessions and races.

Q.I notice you wear them with flexy elastic laces...
A.
There are good things and bad things about elastic laces. They help you get into your shoes really quickly....

The Promise of Real Booty from "Real Housewives of Atlanta" Star, Kenya Moore

Kenya Gets The Boot-y!

If I have to pick a favorite housewife from the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast, Kenya Moore has my vote! I recently interviewed her by phone. We laughed and groveled about gym hair. I'm either a diva too or Kenya Moore is more down to earth than she lets on.

At 40+ she carries a lot of experience and wisdom with her. She may have a spring chicken tushy but Kenya Moore has undoubtedly lived and learned. My interview with her on Celebrity Sweat tips captures her tips and insights on fitness & fulfillment

TMZ reports that Kenya has signed on for another season of Real Housewives, so you better get used to this damsel speaking her mind and twirling fabulously. All gossip aside, Kenya really cares about women's health and I think it's pretty awesome that she's willing to share her booty-shaping moves. If I had an ass like that...not sure I'd talk. I'd keep it top secret. Luckily, Kenya...
