As I write this, I'm recovering from the WORST food poisoning of my life, which makes the practice of eating CAREFULLY so much more relevant to me. Tone Like A Model

The model lifestyle is now more accessible to common folk thanks to Amazon Fashion and ModelFIT. Amazon Fashion is essentially a department within the online shopping world of Amazon. They've recently amped up their athletic offerings, especially on designer sportswear. So now you can dress like a model...and even work out like one behind this door, at ModelFIT. 212 Bowery (2nd floor), formerly the studio of model photographer Terry Richardson, is now home to ModelFIT.  It's the new boutique fitness studio in New York City that has everyone talking, where Taylor Swift and models Kate Upton and Karlie Kloss drop in to break a sweat. My Favorite Winter Workout is Flex Pilates

I’m all about outdoor workouts but lately it’s been TOO COLD. Check out my favorite winter workout that lets you skip the cold and will instantly heat up your muscles. It’s Pilates but a different kind of Pilates approach than you’re used to seeing at the gym. The workout is called Flex Pilates and it's taught at Flex Studios in New York City. Flex Pilates uses the Pilates reformer to combine classic Pilates and strength training for 55 minutes that don’t go by too quickly (sorry, clock watchers). Let’s just say you feel every minute of this workout because the motions are often pace-­controlled and require you to activate your core while pulling it up and in. Some moves happen slowly and some quick depending on how you’re using the reformer. To show you several of my favorite moves, I asked Jenn Seracuse, director and instructor at Flex Studios, to guide me through a session. Naked And Not Afraid

I could spend an eternity wanting more…never satisfied with what I’ve got. Or, I could be happy with the skin on my back and the beautiful things I have in my life at this very moment. I could be happy with my dreams, whether or not they manifest. I could be happy with everything that makes me, Me, even if other people criticize. Recap of My Life, 2014 Year End

So this is a recap on the last 2 months of my life. I figured why not turn the lens around and show you what's going on in my life. I enjoy narrating through pictures so here goes... 1. I launched an incredible Mizzfit sock line with Pointe Studio because I love barre fitness like a crackhead. The response has been amazing and no one has thrown their sweaty socks at me yet. They're grippy on the bottom so if you don't do barre, you can also just wear them at home instead of scratching up your nice wood floors with heels. They make great stocking stuffers too. 2. I spoke at iHeart Radio's Lifestyle Health & Wellness Expo in Brooklyn, NY. I'll be at the next one in Harlem, too, on January 29th of 2015. I was honored to speak alongside someone I quite admire: Miss Jenna Wolfe (health & fitness correspondent of the Today Show).
