Why I Love Barre + Best Barre Methods

Barre is a workout I do weekly because I love the results I get! I recently went on Great Day St. Louis to talk about my obsession with barre. Her prodigees went on to turn barre fitness into a successful business of popular, packed classes. Michelle Austin, founder of the Fluidity Barre, was one of her students among others like Exhale founder Fred Devito, who I interviewed HERE. Barre fitness is all about using small movements to work trouble spots and tone every inch of your body by working multiple muscles in unison. The exercises are NOT easy. You will most likely discover parts of your body that you never knew were possible to work out or even move. And that's a good thing because it usually means THEY NEED WORK! Work Your Booty Like A TV Host

Yes! The couch potato booty blast is definitely something you need in your life! That's why I drove 2 hours to New Haven, Connecticut o show Ryan Kristafer, the host of the CT Style Morning Show, how to do it. Let's just say he tried...which I'll give him plenty of credit for. The Couch Potato Booty Blast is what I'd call "vintage Mizzfit" and I love that it's having a resurgence. I'm always happy to get couch potatos moving and the truth is you can work out from ANYWHERE. Swimsuit season is here and your abs are DYING to see the sun. But are you ready to show them off? Here's a great way to do that... TWIST AND TURN YOUR ABS INTO FITNESS MODEL SHAPE! Yes, it's totally possible AND you don't have to do hundreds upon hundreds of reps to get the kind of abs I'm talking about. I went on Pix11 Morning News in New York City today to share my Caliente Calves routine, which you're going to love for summer! It's really simple and you can do it at home without any equipment. Reporter Lisa Mateo didn't even wear shoes and she did just fine :) But first, why should you focus on working out your calves? These are my uncontestable reasons: They give your legs shape. They show off muscle tone, which tells people that you work out. They're SEXY! These days, it's not just about hips and booty. Half Marathon Training Tips - Prep With Me!

I recently ran the More/Fitness/Shape Magazine Women's Half Marathon in New York City and couldn't be more pleased with the quality of my run. So many factors go into having a great run. Of course, you have to train consistently, eat right and get plenty of sleep and hydration. But there are other things you learn through trial & error to help improve your run. I've been running long distances since highschool and to this day I'm still discovering new tricks for a smoother run. Here are 5 Tips that helped me excel in my recent half marathon (and make me want to attempt another...even though I swore it'd be my last one at mile 10...so typical!). 1. Test everything you plan on wearing for the official half marathon race day during your last few training runs.
